Far away,in the land of talking animals,lived three orphaned pigs named Brownie,Pinky,and Max.
很久以前，在会说话的动物的土地上，住着三只孤儿小猪，名字叫做Brownie，Pinky，以及 Max。

The youngest pig,Brownie,was the color of mud.
最年幼的小猪，Brownie，浑身都是泥的颜色。

He was a very silly pig,who rolled and played in mud puddles all day long.
他是一只非常愚蠢的小猪，经常整天在泥水中滚来滚去。

At the orphanage,Brownie was always scolded for playing instead of doing chores.
在孤儿院，Brownie总是因此被骂，而不做家务。

The middle pig,Pinky,was pink and plump.
排行第二的小猪叫Pincky，是粉红色的胖嘟嘟的。

She was a very greed pig,who liked to do nothing but eat.
她是一只非常贪婪地小猪，除了吃什么都不喜欢。

At the orphanage,Pinky always got scolded for eating to much and not sharing.
在孤儿院，她总是因为吃太多又不肯分享而被骂。

The oldest pig,Max,was quiet but wise.
最年长的小猪，MAX，非常的安静但是充满了智慧。

He always completed his chores on time,and helped other pigs when he could.
他总是按时完成自己的差事，并尽己所能帮助其他小猪。

At the orphanage,Max always was praised for being clever and kind.
在孤儿院，Max常常因为他的机智和和善而受到表扬。

One day，the Head Pig announced to Brownie,Pinky

, and Max that they had grown too old to live at the orphanage.
一天，领头的猪通知Brownie,Pinky, 和Max，他们已经到了离开孤儿院的年纪了。

"I have a plan,"said Max."Let's build a house together."
“我有个计划。”Max说。“我们一起造个房子吧。”

Max pulled out a drawing and explained how they could work hard to build a house of bricks that would bu cool in summer,stay warm during winter,and keep out Wicked Wolf.
Max取出一张画，解释着他们要如何造砖头的房子，那房子冬暖夏凉，还可以防御Wicked狼。

"Sounds like too much work,"snorted Brownie.
“听上去有好多工作啊。”Brownie哼了一句。

 
"I don't like the idea of sharing a house,"Pinky whined."Let's each build our own."
“我不喜欢分享一幢房子这个主意。”Pinky抱怨道，“让我们一人造一幢吧。”

Max shook his head sadly as his brother and sister each went their own ways to build a house.
Max由于他的弟弟妹妹都用各自的方法造房子而难过地摇了摇头。

He rolled up his house plans and went to find a good spot to build his brick house.
他卷起他的设计图，出门找个好地方造砖头房子。

Brownie was the first pig to build his house."

It will be easiest to build a house of mud and straw,"thought Brownie,and quickly put together his straw house.

"Enough work,"Brownie sighed."Time to play!"

Max searched for a long time before finding a perfect spot to build his house of bricks.
Max花了很长一段时间才找到一个完美的地方来建造他的砖头房。

He measured carefully and followed his plans.
他仔细测量并且完全照着计划来造房子。

"Now I will be cool in summer,warm in winter,and safe from Wicked Wolf."
“我将会冬暖夏凉，还能安全地抵挡住Wicked狼。”
